Travertine is a natural limestone formed over time in mineral-rich hot springs, long associated with grounding, transformation, and resilience. Its layered formation reflects patience, growth, and quiet evolution.
Unlike the Natural Onyx vessel, which sharpens and strengthens through protective intensity, Travertine stone works in a gentler, more restorative way — softening energy, supporting emotional steadiness, and encouraging slow, natural transformation.
How Our Refill Program Works
Getting started is simple.
1. Order your Candle Gift Set
Choose your first scent and receive your vessel and core together — a beautifully crafted stone vessel paired with your candle's wax core.
2. Enjoy your candle
Let your scent fill the room, exactly as intended.
3. When you run out, refill — don't replace
Simply clean out your vessel, then order a new Core Scent: a wax pillar designed to insert straight into your glass jar. It protects your stone vessel and lets you enjoy a fresh scent (or the same favourite) again and again.
No waste. No buying a new vessel every time. Just candle, after candle, after candle.
The Vela Core Refill Ritual

Your Vela Signature vessel is designed to stay with you for years to come.
Once your Vela Core candle has reached the end of its burn, simply order a new one to replace it with a new Vela Core Candle and continue the ritual.
Each Vela Core Candle is hand-poured in our studio using our signature plant-based wax and fine fragrance, created to fit perfectly inside your natural stone vessel.
A simple ritual that celebrates craftsmanship, reduces waste, and allows your favourite vessel to be enjoyed again and again.
How It Works
1. Begin Your Ritual
Choose your Vela Signature vessel with your first Vela Core candle and enjoy your new ritual.
2. Finish & Prepare
Once your candle has reached the end, remove the glass candle jar from your stone vessel.
Soak the jar in hot water to soften any remaining wax, allowing it to lift away easily.
Empty the water, wash the jar thoroughly with warm soapy water, and dry it completely, leaving it clean and ready for your next candle.
3. Order Your Next Vela Core Candle
Choose your next Vela Core scent either in the same fragrance or discover something new.
Your fresh candle is hand-poured and delivered ready to drop into your prepared glass jar.
4. Refill & Relight
Once delivered, simply place your new Vela Core into the clean glass jar, return it to your Vela Signature vessel, and begin the ritual once more.
What You Keep
Your Vela Signature vessel, carved from natural stone, is made to become a lasting piece in your home. The glass candle jar is also designed to be reused with every new Vela Core and to protect the stone or onyx.
What You Replace
Only the Vela Core is replaced, allowing you to enjoy a fresh, hand-poured candle while continuing the ritual in the vessel you already love.
